These Terms & Conditions apply when you use our website or purchase products from us. Please read them before placing an order.

By placing an order with us, you are entering into a contract with Skylar & Sage Home Fragrance subject to these terms and your statutory consumer rights.

Our Products

Skylar & Sage Home Fragrance specialises in handmade wax melts and wax slabs for home fragrance use.

Because our products are handmade, there may be small variations between products and the photographs displayed on our website.

These can include slight differences in:

• Colour or shade
• Glitter placement
• Mica appearance
• Decorative wax placement
• Pattern, marbling or finish

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and the screen or device being used.

These small handmade variations are part of the nature of our products and do not affect your statutory rights.

Product Weights

Our wax products are handmade and individual weights may vary slightly. Where a product weight is provided, it should be treated in accordance with the product information shown on the relevant product page and any applicable weights and measures requirements.

Fragrance

We describe our fragrances as accurately as reasonably possible.

However, fragrance perception is subjective and can vary from person to person.

Disliking a fragrance or finding it different from what you personally expected does not, by itself, mean that the product is faulty or not as described.

This does not affect your rights where a product genuinely does not match its description.

Product Safety

Our wax melts are intended to be used in a suitable wax melt burner.

Please follow the safety and usage information supplied with your product.

Keep wax melts, burners and lit tealights away from children and pets and never leave a lit burner unattended.

Any applicable safety and CLP information will be supplied with the product.

Placing an Order

Please check your order and delivery information carefully before completing your purchase.

When you submit an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your basket.

An order is accepted when we confirm that your order has been accepted.

If we are unable to fulfil an order after payment has been taken, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.

Prices

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£).

The price you pay will be the price displayed when you place your order, subject to correction of obvious errors where permitted by law.

Any applicable delivery charge will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

FREE UK delivery is available on orders of £45 or more.

We may change our prices or promotions from time to time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.

Payment

Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.

Payments may be handled securely by third-party payment providers such as PayPal.

Delivery

We currently deliver within the UK.

Delivery charges and available delivery information will be shown during checkout.

We aim to prepare and dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website.

Occasionally circumstances outside our reasonable control may cause delays. If there is a significant problem with your order, please contact us.

For eligible online purchases, you normally have the right to tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods, subject to the applicable rules and exceptions.

Handmade & Delicate Products

Our decorative wax slabs and melts can contain small wax decorations and detailed elements.

Although every order is carefully packaged, wax is naturally breakable and occasionally a decorative element may become detached or minor cosmetic cracking may occur during transit.

We will consider minor cosmetic transit damage on a case-by-case basis, taking into account whether the product can still be safely used as intended.

This does not limit your statutory rights if your product is faulty, significantly damaged, unsafe or not as described.

Problems With Your Order

If you receive an incorrect, faulty or significantly damaged product, please contact us as soon as possible at: [email protected]

Please provide your order number and, where possible, photographs showing the issue and packaging so that we can investigate and help resolve the problem.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights you have under UK consumer law.

Promotions & Discount Codes

From time to time, we may offer discounts, promotional codes, multi-buy offers or other promotions.

Any specific conditions of a promotion will be made clear when the promotion is offered.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, but this will not affect orders already accepted.

Website Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information on our website are accurate. Occasionally errors may occur. Where we discover an error affecting an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the available options.
